Objectives

The main objective of MESAR project is to decrease the negative impact generated by pesticides and heavy metals through elaboration and promotion of a complex program for pollution prevention and control in order to ensure environmental quality and security in rural areas Saliste and Copsa Mica.


The general objectives of the project are the following:

• Decrease of impact upon the quality of life by developing complex mechanisms (social and economic) based on the assessment of environmental factors quality in specific rural areas polluted with pesticides and heavy metals.
• Optimization of prevention mechanisms through a higher efficiency, competitivity and creativity in educational and public administration systems in specific rural areas polluted with pesticides and heavy metals.
• Promotion of complex programs regarding pollution prevention and control of the environmental factors in order to ensure environmental quality and security in specific rural areas polluted with pesticides and heavy metals, in accordance with the European strategic environmental and security priorities.
• Generation, development, and stregthening of partnerships in the domain of ecology and environmental protection in order to develop and promote the research activity, in accordance with the European environmental requirements.
